Police or Accident Reports


If you would like to request a copy of a police report you must first fill out a Freedom of Information request.  That request is submitted to the Records Division, if a report is available to meet your request, the Records Division will notify you by phone to pick up the report.  Processing of requests can take from seven to ten business days.

Freedom of Information requests can be requested in person at the Police Department or can be printed out online from  by clicking on the link below. Freedom of Information requests can be submitted in person at the Police Department or by FAX to 815-433-4600.
