Public Education

Fire Safety Education is one of our most important assets. We currently provide Fire Safety Public Education Classes within the Ottawa Public and Parochial Elementary School Systems in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. We also provide a five day course in Fire Safety and Personal Safety at Ottawa High School.

Any organization or citizen of Ottawa may request an informational program on fire safety or Ottawa Fire Department. Tours of the Fire Department may be scheduled by calling the Administrative Office.

Fire Safety House

The Fire Safety House will be on Display at the Seneca Fire Department on Thursday October 13, 2005 from 9:00am - 12:00pm.

The Fire Safety House will be giving demonstrations on Saturday October 15, 2005 from 10:00am - 1:00pm at the Ottawa Walmart shopping center.

Tours can be arranged for the Fire Safety House at the Ottawa Fire Department Main Station, 301 W. Lafayette St. between the hours 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.
